Problem: How do we make The DONUT’s daily newsletter funnier.

After CEO / Founder Peter Bowak read my newsletter, Both Are True, he asked me to join The DONUT as the Senior Copywriter & Managing Editor.

Every day, I wrote and published:

  1. A 50-75 word intro / hook to the newsletter that was funny, engaging, and included any marketing promos we’re running that day.

  2. a 250-300 word piece covering entertainment / tech

Result: We grew Daily DONUT’s audience by 25% to over 100k in 8 months.
